Good Night!

Last Sunday, we watched "Sounder" as a family.  It was a good, heart warming story.  When it was over and the lights were turned on, this is how Kara looked. . . and looked.

She really got into the movie!  She stayed like that until I figured it was time for sleep in her bed.

 We have been lucky to have Macey (and Alli) over for a week while her parents went on a business trip and also to see Grandma.  It has been so much fun having Macey.  Janiel and Macey get along so well.  They never fight, they never pout (with or about each other...Janiel does pout), they never backbite, they never pull the kind of stuff girls like to pull on each other.  They are truly best friends (even better than sisters because sisters fight!)  So we set up the cot in Janiel and Kara's room for Macey.  Erin and Ashleigh thought it wasn't fair that Kara always got to sleep with Macey.  So on Friday night, we had a big sleep over in the family room!  They actually did very well.  (I told them whoever took their head off their pillow had to go in their own bed.  It worked pretty good.  Only one problem with Kara and she repented quickly.)

Alli wanted to be part of the action too with Erin and Kara.

The cute line-up of girls: Erin, (Alli), Kara, Ashleigh, Macey and Janiel.  Erin did swap placed with Kara because she was afraid to sleep on the end (because of rats running under the blinds-those pesty rodents.  I think the air conditioning was blowing the blinds).

Macey goes home tonight.  We are going to miss her.  She'll be glad to have Mom and Dad back!
