The cast didn't stop Ashleigh. She did great hand stands. She learned to eat and draw with her left hand. Grandpa Breinholt taught her how to draw stars with her left hand. Maybe it helped that he is left handed.
We all signed her cast.

Here is the grimy thing after three weeks. She had worn down the finger tips by doing hand stands and cart wheels. It started giving her blisters on her thumb and finger.
Brent called his friends at American Fork Hospital, since we couldn't follow up in Florida. The sweet ladies there took great care of us. Ashleigh wouldn't say a word, but was very relieved to have the cast off. They were so kind and helped her feel comfortable. It was good to see all the wonderful people that Brent worked with (and hopefully will work with again!).
