We have traveled a lot in the month of June. Not only have we traveled miles from Florida, we have also traveled closer to the sun and farther from sea level! We were at 0 feet above sea level and traveled to a family reunion in the mountains at 9000 feet. Talk about having your ears plugged!
We loved being with our family.
The kids loved being with cousins and playing monkey ball together.
Ashleigh takes a toss.
Erin collecting the balls.
Kara throwing the balls with grace!
Erin and Kara.
Uncle Joel and Aunt Cassie are great players!
Ashleigh and Erin see where their balls land.
We went on a hike with the younger kids while the older kids went to shoot guns. The kids were all troopers.
Ashleigh found a beautiful moth.
Kara found a beautiful feather.
Kara had a fun time with Bella.
There are a lot of girls: Chloe, Maddie, Erin, Bella, Kara, Ashleigh, and Rilee.
Chloe also loved the moth.
Brent enjoyed a creamcicle.
We are definitely not in Florida anymore, but it is beautiful still!
This ragged looking butterfly was amazing to watch.
The kids had fun decorating t-shirts.
They made wands for bubbles.
And made sculptures out of Dots and toothpicks.
Maddie, Ashleigh and Erin shaping their bubble wands.
Max is getting into his sculpture.
Sydney, Janiel and Kara are designing their t-shirts.
Aunt Amber and her cute girls coloring.
Dipping in the bubbles.
Lilly blowing some major bubbles!
Rilee figuring it all out!
More and more bubble blowing!
Looks like Grandpa even got into the Dots!
Violet with her Dot necklace.
Cooper took time to have a pout. Then jumped back into the activities.
We had fun playing family Olympics.
Grandpa throwing the Javelin.
Rilee and the others waiting at the hurdles.
Cute view of the Olympians.
Cooper having some assistance in the hurdles.
A game of sharks!
Don't let the sharks get you.
The families of winners!
Sydney, Noah, Jarrett, Kyle
Chloe, Max, Maddie, Lincoln
Esther and Judy
Amber, Jonathan, Elliott, Grandpa
Lilly, Rilee, Lisa, Bella, Violet (and Esther again)
Grandma, Austin, Wes, Nicole
Kara, Janiel, Erin
(Sad for us that Ashleigh didn't feel good and was resting in the tent with Brent.)
The next day before going home, Austin gave the girls rides on his motorcycle.
There is something spectacular about the mountains. They are breathtaking and beautiful.
We froze our little toes off, but enjoyed camping again.

So glad to catch up a little through our blogs. Will have to talk soon! Love these reunion ideas. I'm going to file them away for our next one.
