Are Wes and Laban Friends?

We were talking Sunday about what the kids learned in class.  I was impressed with what Erin and Ashleigh had learned and what they remembered.  They said they learned about the golden plates and how Nephi tried to get them and the different steps he took: trying to trade something for them and talking to Laban's friends etc.  Then Erin said that Nephi had to kill Laban so that he could get the plates.  I said, "That would be really hard to kill someone if Jesus told you to!"  Then Erin said, "But Wesley wouldn't kill Laban because they would be friends." Then she burst out laughing.  She knows how to tease that brother right back!
