We were able to have two Easter egg hunts this year. My cousin was coming for a visit from California, so she arranged for a yummy potluck dinner and an egg hunt.
The kids had a great time finding eggs.
Kara found some eggs.

Erin couldn't wait to crack open her eggs.
The cousins got together to compare goods.
Great Grandpa Gale came over to see the excitement.
They had golden tickets hidden in some of the eggs. Kara got one and won a play-do set!
Then the big kids got a turn in the dark.
Wes said he wasn't going to go because he didn't want to carry the basket. So he had Kara carry it for him. Obviously, she wasn't doing a good enough job!

Then we had our traditional Saturday morning hunt at home. The Easter bunny brought 34 eggs for each child. So this is what 34 eggs looks like.
And what the candy emptied out looks like!
The Easter Bunny brought girl Lego's.
They sure had a lot of fun building them.
And then they wanted to take pictures of the final products.
They even had cupcakes and ice cream sandwiches!
What a fun time! This Lego girl kind of makes me miss the beach!
