Vineyards Tree Lighting

Janiel's grade was invited to sing at the tree lighting in Vineyard's Community. Brent had to work, Wes was at hockey, so it was just me and the girls.  Janiel's group did a great job singing.  The neighborhood (more like an area, golf course and country club) went all out with a bounce house, pony rides, popcorn, cookies and drinks, Santa, and other goodies.
This is Janiel with her friend Kailee from her class.
Ashleigh was so excited to see the ponies.  We stood in line so they could have a turn on the ponies.
This is a cute little side story:  We had been drying the wishbone out of the turkey from Thanksgiving.  Ashleigh and Erin were going to break it.  They both made their secret wish.  They tried but it wasn't quite dry enough.  So they had to wait a little longer. In the mean time, we had this event.  When the bone was dry enough, Ashleigh said, "I don't need to break the wishbone.  My wish already came true.  I got to ride a horse!"  So cute.  But then she burst into tears when she got the smaller half of the wishbone!
  Waiting for their turn.

Kara didn't really want to ride, until the lady told her it was a baby horse.  Then she thought it would be alright.
