Kara turned 5 this year. She woke to a surprise on her face. Wes, the great planner and brother, decorated her face with a sharpie for the occasion.
Of course he couldn't resist getting the other girls as well. I only have a picture of Ashleigh looking a little like Hitler.
Kara wanted Belle on her cake. I couldn't fine a little one, but this seemed to turn out okay. Kara was sure that she wanted Belle sitting on grass with pink flowers, looking at the pond with fish. So there you have it.
I think Kara was happy with the results.
Our big five year old!
Lucky girl. She had a good time opening her presents.
Cute skirt from Grandma and Grandpa Prime.
Her card was even a crown!
Grandma and Grandpa Breinholt sent the Brave book and the doll with the horse. She loved that!
Ready, set, blow!
We love our Kara. She brings such love and happiness to our house. She is constantly looking for ways to make people smile and laugh. She comes up with some pretty good jokes too. She is our dancer and singer, though only in private. She is a smart cookie and is very ready for kindergarten. She arrived as our largest baby, coming in at 9 pounds 5 ounces.
Just for fun, a picture of Kara 5 years ago:
Ashleigh and Erin, only 18 months old, loved their sister from the start.
