The kids are officially out of school. It seems like it has cleared up some time. I'm not spending hours in the car driving too. But before the end of school, they had a chance to show us their class and some accomplishments they have had over the school year. In Janiel's class, we saw all of the science fair displays.
In Erin and Ashleigh's class, they had made a volcano for all to see.
The art teacher had some sidewalk chalk for them to color in some paintings.
Here are also some treasures that the girls brought home. They made some fossil prints.
And some dinosaurs made out of clay.
I'm so thankful for such marvelous teachers. All the girls were blessed to have great teachers. Mrs. Madonna seemed to be the perfect match for both Erin and Ashleigh. She was patient and loving, but taught them all that they needed to know. They are both reading. They also learned to be good friends and how to follow the rules. Mr. Leonard was also a great teacher. He let each of the kids know how much they were loved and how important they are. He really praised Janiel on what a wonderful student she is. He wishes he could have a whole classroom full of Janiels. It is a little harder to know Wes' teachers. He was a good student, so we didn't have any interactions with his teachers. (They only do parent teacher conferences if they are needed.) But he has learned to love history (which is just like his dad) and he can speak some Spanish. So he must have had good teachers. We are grateful for people who love our kids.
