Erin came home from school two weeks ago so excited. She was happy to announce that she was the Student of the Week!!! In her class they are the dinosaurs. So with being student of the week, she got to take home the dinosaurs and write about their adventures. Ashleigh was the Student of the week this week. Luckily we have had a little excitement this last two weeks.
Erin's first day she wanted to do homework with the Dino's.
The next day she had a check-up at the dentist. Her eyes were a little red because she said when ever they laid the chair down her eyes would water. No cavities!!! Good job brushing! (But the x-rays showed her top teeth next to the front ones are totally turned sideways. So breaking her of the thumb sucking habit didn't save us from braces. Something to look forward too.)
We made cupcakes, just for fun.
And of course a hockey game on Saturday.
The kids didn't have school on Monday. So we went mini-golfing. Ashleigh's turn with the dinosaurs started, so she got to pose with the Dino's.
The dinosaurs watched Ashleigh as she worked on her pumpkin carving.
Ashleigh also had a check-up with Erin. She didn't have cavities either, but her six-year-old molars have grown in, so they put sealants on them this last week. She did so good! It is pretty funny how Ashleigh's teeth are so much farther ahead than Erin's. Ashleigh has lost six teeth, Erin has lost two. Ashleigh has her molars, Erin doesn't. So different in many ways.
Ashleigh brought two of the dinosaurs to our branch's Trunk or Treat. It was combined with the Naples ward and luckily was inside. We had a huge rainfall that night.
We had a good time with the cute little dinosaurs. The girls thought it was pretty special to be chosen to be STUDENT OF THE WEEK.

So cute! It looks like those Dinosaurs had a fun time.
