We are glad to be back home. Glad to start and renew some traditions. The summer before we left Lehi, the city started Foam Day. It was a fun activity for the family. The fire department sprayed their foam for the kids to play in. We weren't quite sure what to expect, so the kids are dressed in clothes.
Erin and Ashleigh not wanting to get too messy!
Wes, Mitchell and Janiel all foamed up! You can see the people in the background...not too many.
Kara didn't want anything to do with it. But someone (Wes) helped her to get in the fun!
Since we have been gone, it has exploded into something huge.
They now have a train ride.
The local baptist church made balloons for the kids.
They have vendors with food and inflatable slides for the kids. And the foam.
We were more prepared this time with swimming suits and goggles.
The fireman spraying the foam.
Erin had a great time!
Ashleigh had fun too!
Dad and Janiel and Kara starting to get into it.
Once again, Kara had foam on her head and wasn't too happy about that.
She actually skinned her knee on the walk over and the foam stung her ouchie. So she wasn't too happy to be there.
It has gotten so big that they even separate different areas for different ages.
Janiel and Ashleigh sporting some foam.
Erin is all smiles.
They had fun sitting and splashing in the foam.
Kara just got into it a little bit.
The kids all had a good time, even if Kara did get a booboo. We are lucky enough to live within walking distance of this park. So we didn't have to worry about the traffic or finding a parking spot. I'm glad we can have some fun together!

haha! I was confused by the first few pictures as your kids looked so young. Getting messy usually makes for a good time:)
ReplyDeleteCrazy how much they can grow in a couple years. We realized Parker has grown 5 inches since last Oct or first part of 2012. He is now 5'5"-5'6". The doctors office for his football physical said the latter. He's claiming it.
