Day 2: We "hung" around a while at the Peck's house. The kids went out and fed their horse. The kids had fun playing with their kids. Here is a picture of the group. From left to right: Kara, Erin Peck, Janiel, Ashleigh, Erin Prime and the boys Brayden and Wesley in the back. We drove with them to the Snowflake, Arizona Temple. It was beautiful. The water fountain had frozen and made beautiful designs. We left there about 11:15 and headed to New Mexico. There wasn't too much to see as far as scenery went. We traveled to Albuquerque for an early dinner at Cracker Barrel. Then we traveled to Tucumcari, New Mexico where we stayed the night. We got there about 7:15 p.m. so the kids had time to unwind. The kids had baths and went to bed well. We traveled a total of 1086 miles. We traveled 451 miles for the day in 9 hours. Our truck was in Wyoming.
