Day 5: The kids also had fun playing with Heather's bunnies: Cricket and Mouse. They got some energy out by chasing them around the yard. Wesley also had some fun with the hammock they have there. It was nice to just sit and visit with Heather. We took the kids to a hotel (as Heather was down to one bathroom due to remodeling the other). They had a pool so we thought that might be fun. It was freezing cold, but the kids still swam and played in it for an hour. We felt like fugitives sneaking 5 kids into one room. But we managed to do it. Three girls slept in one bed, Kara with us and Wesley on the floor. This day we traveled only 139 miles, but was able to spend a lot of time at Heather's. We have traveled a total of 2176 miles. Our truck arrived in Atlanta in the morning.
