My mom and I went to Lowes to find a cupboard to store some more pantry stuff. We found this one marked down from $140 to $30 because the top corner was dented and broken off. We took a look and my mom suggested that we just cover it with moulding ($7). The employee marked it down even more to $20. When we got it home, we found that it was also missing a bag of hardware. So I called the company and they sent it in the mail for free. So I think it turned out great for $27.

This is the kitchen. I like the colors. The black marble has little specks within that you can't wipe off. So sometimes it looks dirty. But it is nice. The stainless steel is nice too, but it takes some wiping to keep clean. The kids love the water and ice dispenser in the fridge. They drink a lot of water because of this. I know that is good, but it makes a lot of trips to the potty. The stove is a flat top. It takes some special cleaner to make it look good. It took some getting used to a electric stove again. I miss my gas stove. You can look over the bar into the dining room. It is great to pass the food and dishes through. Otherwise you have to walk around, through the living room to get to the table. (I guess I have to walk around to get my body there!)

I enjoy the wood flooring. It is easy to clean It takes a lot of sweeping. It is amazing to see all that dust. I wondered what is in the carpet at home. Now I know. We got a rug so that the kids can lay on the floor without being too uncomfortable. I found this one at Target on clearance. Love those deals.
