Day 4: We left about 8:15 a.m. We passed Checotah, Oklahoma, home of Carrie Underwood. Not much of a place to talk about. They did have a sign informing us of the importance of that town. We stopped in Little Rock, Arkansas at a Nature Center. They had some baby alligators. We learned all about alligators. At our lunch stop at Wendy's the employee had her hair wavy and pink highlights. Ashleigh said that her hair was beautiful and looked like ribbons. We passed the Tennessee sign so fast that we couldn't get out. It was on a busy, crowded road. We stopped at an information center to find out about Graceland. We missed it closing by 15 minutes. It saved us a lot of money, but Brent was really disappointed. He really loves Elvis and was sad that he couldn't go into his home. We did get a picture of the outside (from the bottom of the hill). We ate dinner at The Incredible Pizza Company. It was a pizza buffet with games. The kids had fun and it was a good break from the car. We got to Jackson, Tennessee about 9:30 that night. We traveled a total of 2037 miles. We traveled 481 miles that day in 13 hours. Kind of slow. Our truck had a stop in Nashville and was on its way to Atlanta.
We had a wonderful adventure in Florida! We moved there so Brent could continue his education. He attended Wolford College to become a Nurse Anesthetist. We wanted to start a blog to keep our family and friends up to date on our adventures in this beautiful part of the country. Brent has finished his school and is now employed at Lone Peak Anesthesia!!! We love being back in Utah, although we miss our Florida adventures and friends terribly. Our adventures continue in Utah!
