The girls were so excited to go to Canada. Part of our trip was going to see Brent's sister, Val. She owns some horses and so the girls were really excited for that. But before we went to her place, we went to Spruce Meadows. We went with Auntie Janet and her friend.
We were able to walk through the stables and pet the horses. The girls were in heaven!
Auntie Janet was so nice to lift and help the girls with the horses.
They even found some metal ones to ride!
After we went to the rodeo, the girls insisted that they needed some cow girl hats.
We were lucky to find some at a newly opened ranch store, in purple and pink even!
This isn't the best shot, but we were able to watch a horse being trained!
Then we found some more horses.
When we went outside, there were a couple that were practicing jumping.
And more horses to be loved!
They also happened to be having a dog show that day. So we took a look at that for a bit!
It was amazing how some of these dogs were cared for. They are the owners' children! There were so many different varieties!!! I couldn't even start to name one.
We found some puppies to give the girls some love.
We watched an agility competition. Some of the dogs were so obedient. Others embarrassed their owners with their disobedience!!! Kind of reminded me of children. Good thing I am not judged for points on how well my children follow my directions. Again it was fun to see all the different breeds.
Then the clouds started moving in and the wind was blowing. The horse was getting crazy.
But slowed down for love.
It was a fun place to spend the day.
I was impressed with the place. They wanted to share the horses with families. There wasn't a charge to see them. It was perfect for the girls.
