We always thought it might be fun to go to the sheep dog competition. So this year we did it! It was actually pretty fun!
The dog had to take the sheep on a course up and around and down the hill. This was done with guidance from their owner. He or she used a whistle to guide the dog. Amazing.
They had to go through certain fences. Then they had to separate the sheep.
And then get them into the pen. It had to be done within a certain time frame. The dogs and handlers were amazing.
We also watched a little splash dog competition.

We also got to see a wild animal show with a red fox,
A bird (I can't remember the name)
And a tortoise.
Wes was thrilled. At least he got to work on his tan. We were so worried about the forecast of rain, that we forgot the sunscreen. We were prepared for rain but not sun. We all went home crispy fried.
